These Cinnamon and Cardamon Knots are perfect for cold winter nights, the spices used in this enriched bread add such a nice warmth. This is a nice way variation on a classic Cinnamon Roll, the plaiting stage can be difficult at first but the more you practise the easier it will become! They are even better when they are warm with a hot drink.

Croissants
These Croissants are something that I have been practising over the past few months. It has taken me several attempts to try and get the perfect Croissants and now I think I have finally baked a Croissants that you would find in a French Bakery! If you do want to make your own Croissants keep in mind it is a very lengthily process which can take 2-3 days. I get better results when I do it over 3 days but you can easily do it over 2 days.
Throughout my many attempts some tips that are really important are: To make sure your dough is chilled, this will prevent your butter from melting and oozing out of the dough and my other tip is to prove your Croissants for at least 3 hours, this will create that open amazing looking honeycomb structure in your Croissants.

Bombolonis are Italian doughnuts that are shaped into round balls. These Bombolonis are coated in cinnamon sugar and are filled with a Nutella Ganache. These homemade doughnuts taste so much better than shop brought ones! I recently got a deep fat fryer and I wanted to test it out. I used to fry doughnuts in a saucepan, but it is so hard to keep the temperature of the oil at the right temperature. The deep fat fryer stops this problem so no more burnt doughnuts, I highly recommend getting one, it makes things so much easier!
